Hey, I’m Janelle — a creative at heart with a deep love for capturing life’s quiet, beautiful moments.

I grew up in the Annapolis Valley, surrounded by quiet landscapes and the kind of everyday moments that make you stop and appreciate life—Oh! And lots and lots of lakes and beaches. From a young age, I was always drawn to creativity — whether it was drawing, observing the world around me, watching the moon chase the sun, or finding beauty in the small details others might overlook. That love for creativity eventually led me to photography.

For me, photography is about more than just taking pictures. It’s about preserving the feeling of a moment — the laughter, the connection, the little in-between expressions that tell a real story. I love capturing people, pets and everything else as they truly are, in a way that feels natural, comfortable, and timeless.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me drawing, spending time at home, or hanging out with my three dogs who keep life fun and full of personality. They inspire me a lot when it comes to living in the moment and enjoying life for what it is. they don’t care what the price of living is, or if it’s going to rain. They only care about moving from sun spot to sun spot for a nap or making a mess in the snow because thats what huskies do.
